Bryce announces candidacy:
Recently at a holiday gathering of prominant Republicans, Bryce Reeves of Spotsylvania County announced his plans to seek the nomination and subsequent appointment to the Chairman seat for the Spotsylvania County Republican Committee. The current Chairman, Robert Stuber was recently appointed as the Vice Chairman of the 1st Congressional District Republican Committee and has announced that he will not seek another term and will focus on supporting the new Chairman. Stuber will also focus his time and energy in his new seat serving the Republicans of the 1st District.
Reeves brings tireless energy and leadership to the position being vacated by Stuber. His goals are to unify the Republican base in Spotsylvania County and bring more people into the Party to have an impact within the community of Spotsylvania County.

Governor Jim Gilmore announced his support for Bryce Reeves of the Livingston District for the Spotsylvania County Board of Supervisors.

His masters degree in public administration will serve him well in leading and directing change. Today, Congressman Eric Cantor endorsed Bryce Reeves for Livingston District Supervisor. Congressman Cantor stated, "I am pleased to endorse Bryce Reeves for Supervisor, Livingston District. He will bring a new vision and leadership to Spotsylvania County."

Ben Nagle, executive director of the Rappahannock Area Office on Youth, in a letter to the editor published in the August 25, 2007 edition of the Free Lance-Star, recognizes Bryce Reeves' courage to challenge the status quo by supporting delinquency prevention programs.

In a letter to the editor published in the August 13, 2007 edition of the Free Lance-Star, (I)Eric Martin, candidate for the School Board from the Salem District, outlined what many in the community have discovered about Bryce Reeves, that "Reeves would be a great Spotsy supervisor."
Eric Martin wrote in detail about Bryce Reeves' qualifications, including his military, law-enforcement, and business experience, and why he recommends voters support Bryce Reeves.
Martin wrote "He's the 'real deal' when it comes to being a supervisor. I'd trust him with my family's best interests in a heartbeat, and encourage all to vote for him on Nov. 6."
